We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 8:00 a.m. and head towards the town of Chinchero, arriving at around 9:00 a.m. About 15 minutes from this town is our starting point. We will put on our safety gear (helmet and gloves) and begin our biking experience. The first point to visit is the viewpoint of Huaypo Lake.
We will continue our bike journey, passing through the town of Cruzpata. After about 1 hour of biking, we will reach a crossroads where our vehicle will be waiting for us. We will load the bikes onto the car and continue our tour to the community of Misminay.
In this community, we will have a marvelous view of the archaeological site of Moray. Next, we will descend on our bikes to the salt mines, where our guide will provide a detailed explanation of the history and socio-economic impact on the town of Maras. After visiting the Maras salt mines, we will return to the city of Cusco at around 3:00 p.m.

Our transportation will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 8:00 in the morning. We will then drive to the town of Chinchero on a 1 hour trip. Our starting point is approximately 15 minutes from this town. The guide will provide you with a bicycle based on your height and the necessary safety equipment. Before we start pedaling, the guide will give a short safety briefing and explain how the bikes work. After the briefing, we will begin our bike adventure.
In the first section, we will come across a viewpoint that will allow us to appreciate a unique landscape of the Huaypo lagoon, along with the Urubamba mountain range. We will have time to capture our experience in photographs. Continuing our journey, we will pass through the town of Cruzpata, a community dedicated to agriculture and the raising of small animals.
Around 10:30 in the morning, we will finish the first stage of our tour. We will take a break to refresh ourselves and have some snacks. At the same time, the guide will load the bikes onto the vehicle. Our transportation will take you to the community of Misminay. The approximate travel time to this viewpoint is 25 minutes by car. When you arrive at the Misminay viewpoint, you will have a privileged view of Moray. The guide will explain the history and operation of this archaeological site, considered an Inca agricultural laboratory built in the form of concentric circles, specifically formed by 4 veryus or circles, the deepest of which is 80 meters deep, with the lowest terrace measuring 36 meters in diameter.
Once in the community of Misminay, we will descend on bicycles along an 8 km trail made for the local herders until we reach the salt mines. When we arrive at the salt mines, you will have time to get a close look at the salt pools and take as many photographs as you like. Our guide will explain how they work, their history, and the importance of the salt mines, which are formed by around 3,000 small pools, with each pool producing approximately 50 to 80 kilograms of salt per season. It is said that during the Inca era, they served to supply this mineral to all of Cusco and its surroundings. After visiting Maras, we will return to your hotel in Cusco, concluding our services at approximately 3:00 in the afternoon.
