We warmly welcome you and will pick you up from Cusco Airport to transfer you to your hotel. After lunch, we will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 12:30 PM to begin our city tour, starting with Cusco Cathedral, one of Peru's most important temples, consisting of three buildings: the Basilica, Triumph, and Sagrada Familia. Inside, you can still see walls built with great precision by the Incas, along with artistic Catholic religious pieces.
Next, we will visit Qoricancha, a marvelous site built by the Incas for Sun worship, later modified by the Spaniards for the evangelization of the indigenous people during the Viceroyalty. We will continue our guided tour exploring the archaeological centers near the city of Cusco. We will start with Sacsayhuaman, whose name means 'satisfied falcon.' This site was built with enormous stone blocks, and during the Inca period, it was known as the 'House of the Sun.'
Next, we will head to Q'enqo, meaning 'labyrinth' in Quechua, named for its underground galleries and small zigzagging channels. Then, we will visit Puca Pucara, also known as the red fortress, and finally, Tambomachay, an Inca site dedicated to water. We will end our tour at the beautiful Plaza de Armas in Cusco at approximately 6:00 PM.

We will begin the day with breakfast at your hotel. At approximately 7:30 AM, we will pick you up and visit the archaeological site of Pisac, located 45 minutes from Cusco. Pisac will provide insight into the advanced architectural knowledge that the Incas attained during their time.
Studies suggest that Pisac was not a fortress, but rather a 'royal hacienda' during the reign of Inca Pachacutec. It was composed of terraces, residential and ceremonial structures, and aqueducts that supplied water for agricultural use. Another great reason to visit Pisac is its craft market, where you can find unique, authentic souvenirs.
At noon, we will head to the town of Urubamba for a buffet lunch, offering you the chance to enjoy delicious Peruvian cuisine. Urubamba was one of the main agricultural centers of the Inca Empire. Today, it is known for producing the finest corn in the world. During the rainy season, the valley is abundant with native fruits such as peaches, capulí, quince, and top-quality strawberries, among others.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Ollantaytambo fortress, which served as an agricultural, religious, and astronomical center. This is evident from the Colcas, agricultural storage facilities that used wind systems for preservation, and from the finely carved stone blocks strategically placed to honor the Sun God and manage the Sacred Valley. From Ollantaytambo, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes, allowing us to visit Machu Picchu early the following day.
