Upon your arrival at Cusco airport, we will warmly welcome you and head to your hotel, providing transportation for you to settle in and enjoy a well-deserved rest. Once you've had a chance to settle in, we'll begin your experience in the beautiful city of Cusco and its various Inca sites nearby. For this exciting start, we'll be ready to pick you up at 1:30 PM.
We begin our tour at Cusco Cathedral, adorned with fine carved woodwork and impressive altars and beautiful paintings, created by local artists of the Cusco School.
Next, we'll walk through the streets of the historic center towards Qoricancha, or the Temple of the Sun, dedicated to the deities of the Sun, the Moon, the Stars, the Rainbow, Thunder, and Lightning. Here, you'll appreciate the advanced lithic craftsmanship of the Incas, showcasing the highest level of stone cutting, still stable today despite earthquakes.
After visiting Qoricancha, we will drive to Sacsayhuaman, located 3 km from the city of Cusco. The esplanade of Sacsayhuaman offers a panoramic view of the city of Cusco. Sacsayhuaman was built with massive limestone blocks weighing between 25 and 130 tons. Featuring three superimposed terraces in a zigzag shape, this large and spacious area was used for gatherings and various festivities such as Warachikuy and Inti Raymi.
We will also reach Q'enqo, which means labyrinth, located one kilometer from Sacsayhuaman. It features limestone constructions with stone sculptures, accompanied by structures that, according to historians, were used for astronomical, religious, and embalming or mummification purposes.
We'll visit Puca Pucara, derived from the Quechua words Puka, red, and Pukara, fortress, meaning "red fortress". It served as a strategic site for control and surveillance of access and exit from the Imperial City of Cusco, used as a territorial border to divide regions and establish displacement regimes.
Finally, we'll visit Tambomachay, a resting place located 9 km from the city of Cusco, known as the Inca Baths for its water sources or also known as the Waters of Eternal Youth due to the constant flow of its waters. Thus, we conclude our city tour near the main square of Cusco.

In the vicinity, you can savor Peruvian cuisine at nearby restaurants, or simply relax on one of the benches in the Plaza de Armas and take the classic photo as a keepsake in a charming atmosphere. If you enjoy nightlife, you’ll find many discos and bars around the square.
We continue our adventure early in the morning, with our transfer picking you up at your hotel around 7:00 AM. We will take a 1-hour journey to reach Pisac. During the trip, you’ll have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the Sacred Valley and its continued importance for humanity.
We will visit the Pisac Archaeological Center, located above the city. Here, we can see how the locals use ancient Inca agricultural techniques to cultivate the slopes and achieve maximum productivity.
Next, we will explore the vibrant Pisac handicraft market, filled with colors and a wide variety of crafts. At noon, we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a tourist restaurant in the Urubamba.
After lunch, we'll head to Ollantaytambo, located 76 km from the city of Cusco. There, we will marvel at the imposing lithic pieces—meticulously carved stone blocks, some weighing over 100 tons. These stones were transported to the mountain for astronomical purposes—an achievement that continues to amaze the world.
Ollantaytambo is strategically located amid three valleys, marking the transition to the eyebrow of the jungle. Ollantaytambo has been recognized as the "Best Tourist Town in the World". It is considered a city suspended in time due to its Inca colonial architecture, with a clever hydraulic engineering system that distributes water through channels that run through its streets, maintaining its original landscape.
From Ollantaytambo, we will transfer to the train station to depart for Aguas Calientes, a journey that takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. Along the way, you can delight in the lush vegetation of the jungle and enjoy panoramic views of the Vilcanota River. Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel to settle in.
