Our 'Machu Picchu Huayna Picchu 2-Day Tour' adventure begins in Cusco. We will pick you up early from your hotel in Cusco and take you on a 1-hour and 30-minute drive to the Ollantaytambo train station, offering personalized service along the way.
Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, you will board a train that travels through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This scenic train journey takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, offering views of stunning Andean landscapes, the mighty Vilcanota River, and charming small towns.
The scenery transitions from the rugged Andes to the lush jungle, leading to the location of Machu Picchu. It's a lovely train journey until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes, a charming village where we will spend the night.

On the second day, we head to the bus terminal, where we will board a bus that will take us to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary in a 25-minute trip. We will begin our tour on Circuit 1 or Circuit 2, depending on availability. Here, our guide will provide a tour, sharing insights into the history and mysteries of one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We will uncover the architectural secrets of the Incas and appreciate the stunning beauty of this ancient citadel.
This unforgettable experience lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours, allowing us to connect with the grandeur of Inca culture. After the tour, we will begin the hike to Huayna Picchu, using our Royalty Circuit 3 ticket or Lower Part + Wayna Picchu Mountain ticket, for a journey of approximately 3 hours. This thrilling mountain ascent takes about 1.5 hours to reach the summit.

On the second day of our adventure, we will start very early and head to the bus station, which will take you to the Machu Picchu sanctuary. Here, we will begin the guided tour through the sanctuary. You will be amazed by the stunning Inca architecture at this site. Machu Picchu is a masterpiece of engineering, art, and architecture, perfectly harmonizing with the surrounding nature.
The citadel consists of agricultural and urban areas, featuring squares, temples, roads, staircases, terraces held in place by stone retaining walls, and a hydraulic system with channels and aqueducts for water distribution. The guided tour of this majestic wonder of the world lasts for 2 to 3 hours, and after the tour, we will start the hike to Huayna Picchu, which will be a challenge due to its steep stairs and narrow paths.
Despite the difficulty, the experience offers a unique reward in the form of breathtaking views and an enriching experience. We will enter using our Royalty Circuit 3 or Lower Part + Huayna Picchu ticket. Huayna Picchu is situated at 2,667.58 meters above sea level, and the hike to the summit takes approximately 1.5 hours, offering impressive views and a rewarding experience.
After exploring Huayna Picchu for about 3 hours, we will return to Aguas Calientes, known for its relaxing and healing hot springs, making it a popular destination for travelers seeking rest and rejuvenation. At this point, you will have time to explore the town and visit some artisan centers.
In the afternoon, we will board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting to comfortably transfer you to your hotel in Cusco, concluding our unforgettable Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu Tour.
