By air: Domestic flights from Lima to Trujillo (45 to 50 minutes approx.).
By land: Lima – Trujillo 348 miles by The Carretera Panamericana Norte (8 hours by car approx.)
The capital of the spring, located in the north coast of Peru, is a city of the old colonial lineage and its historic downtown has beautiful old houses and colonial churches. Very popular for its annual contests of Marinera (a beautiful dance of Peru), it is part of the famous Spring Festival. This city is located near to Chan Chan, the capital of Chimu culture. (C:XII), the biggest city of mud in the entire world, UNESCO declared it as Cultural Heritage of the Humanity. An excellent destination to do archeological historic tourism.
