TRANSPORTATION
The transportation is very important to visit the different places in The Sacred Valley; the travel agencies offer two kinds of transportation:
1.- Collective System (pull): The Sacred Valley Circuit begins at 9:00 a.m. and it lasts approximately for 8 hours, finishing at 5:00 p.m., having visited the following places:
- Pisaq (markets) for about 45 minutes approximately.
- Urubamba , where you will have lunch (for 45 minutes approximately)
- Ollantaytambo (ruins), for 45 minutes approximately.
- Chinchero (market) for 45 minutes approximately.
The cost of this circuit changes according the services offered by the companies in charge of bringing the tourism service that has an average price between 15 and 20 dollars per person, the cost includes tourism transportation and guide; the tourist must have the tourism ticket to be able to enter to the tourism attractions that the circuit includes. This service is done 3 days per week which are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
2.- Private System: This system is more customized but it is more expensive than “pull” system and you can take it any day of the week.
